In a social media post on X (formerly Twitter), Tyler Blevins, known by his online alias Ninja, expressed his shock over the diagnosis. He recounted visiting a dermatologist for a routine skin check, where a mole on his foot raised concerns. Following the removal of the mole, it was confirmed to be melanoma, albeit in its early stages. Despite the initial scare, Blevins remains optimistic about his prognosis.

Further medical procedures were undertaken as a precautionary measure, including the biopsy and removal of another dark spot near the melanoma site. Blevins emphasized the importance of regular skin checkups, urging his followers to prioritize their health.

The 32-year-old gained prominence in the gaming world starting from 2009 as a competitive player in "Halo 3." However, it was his involvement in "Fortnite" in 2017 that propelled him to international fame. Collaborations with notable figures such as Drake, Travis Scott, and JuJu Smith Schuster on Twitch solidified his status as a global gaming icon. Blevins has also made appearances on various talk shows, including "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," "The Daily Show," and "The Ellen DeGeneres Show."

With nearly 24 million subscribers on YouTube and a staggering 19 million followers on Twitch, Ninja continues to be a dominant force in the gaming and streaming community.
